There are many many reasons I am excited about this shoot!
1- Monique is a goddess and her man Ernie is a stud.
2- Their outfits make me squeal.
3- I could wear stripes everyday of my life and be happy as a clam.
4- These love birds have been in love for 10 years!
5- This was my first shoot since the wedding.
6- My husband came with!
7- the BIKES!
8- “whipped cream grass” as Monique calls it.
9- Moniques tattoos.
10- The beautiful weather and light.
See! Told ya! Lots to be happy about. However; I think the thing I liked the most was when Monique said that we were a “match made in heaven”! It’s completely true. Perfect fit!
M&E- i just totally fell in love with you guys. Thanks for putting so much thought and creativity into your shoot! I’m probably going to print like, well, ALL of these for my office! This is the longest blog post I’ve done and it makes me SO excited for your wedding in May!!
Side note: after going through the engagement/wedding process myself recently (26 days ago) I have a whole new love for what I do! I’m so blessed to be able to take photos of people at their happiest and wrapped up in the arms of the person they love. My engagement and wedding photos are SO important to me and Steve and I are in the process of making every wall in our house and mini-shrine to our love and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
OK, why am I talking so much??? We need to get to these photos!!!!![]()
They are SO silly and playful! I adore it.

Monique’s tattoo is her grandfather’s signature. I love that.

Now for some “whipped cream grass”

This photo of their feet has quickly become my favorite photo!
You two are gorgeous.
Thanks for allowing me to be apart of this phase of your life!![]()
