Oh, Oregon. You’re so pretty and your people are so friendly. We love you.
We are so thankful for Channy + Jesse and for flying us up to Oregon to photograph their AMAZING and RELAXING and just all around BEAUTIFUL wedding! Not only do they look like they could be models, this couple is incredibly down to earth and kind! Funny too! And Channy is just the sweetest. It was sprinkling all morning and instead of being bummed and stressed out she reassured us all that she was happy because she was getting married and this would be her perfect day! And let me tell you… IT WAS.
They had an intimate wedding at (mynewfavoriteplace) Five Pine Lodge in Sisters, Oregon. Their friends and family (us too!) all stayed at the resort and it was the most relaxing stay we’ve ever had. The lodge is beautiful and everyone had their own individual cabin! I’ve only stayed in a cabin at summer camp so I sort of thought it would feel like and HA HA HA was I wrong!! The rooms were absolutely beautiful and had big beautiful bathrooms, large windows, toasty fireplace, comfy bed, your own patio, and locally brewed coffee! The weather was perfect all weekend too! Well, perfect to us is 60-75 degree weather with overcast skies. Ahhhh…. happy sigh.
Channy attached a handkerchief that has been passed down in her family to her garter moments before she saw her groom.
I love the first look. I love leaving the groom with Steve and walking the bride to meet him. I love the butterflies that happen. It was important to Channy to walk down the stairs as Jesse saw her for the first time and it was straight out of a storybook.
My view above (in color) and Steve’s view below (in black and white).
Her sweet bridesmaid were so happy, excited, and supportive all day!
This look from her father was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever captured. They were both smiling at the camera seconds before this, but he couldn’t help but smile at his daughter. I immediately showed them and we all had tears in our eyes!
Bethany Willis and her husband of Bend Event Music provided beautiful music during the ceremony.
Channy was ECSTATIC the entire ceremony! It was so darling. She kept kissing him before she was “supposed to” and her joy radiated to all of us! I love that her bridesmaids quit their formal pose and put their arms around each other.
The photo below is the “OMG you’re married!!!”
Beautiful cakes by beautiful Channy! That’s right… PLURAL. Chandra made TWO wedding cakes! We actually met last year because she was the cake artist at a wedding we shot!
These two are loved by many and we all can’t wait until they have the most beautiful babies ever!!! Too soon?
Channy + Jesse thank you again for letting us California folk join you in Oregon!! We will always be grateful and have beautiful memories! xo!
