Yesterday I had the pleasure of throwing my cousin Kalie (a.k.a. Cuzzo) a baby shower for her THIRD BABY BOY!!! Kalie is not the traditional type and wanted something fresh for her baby shower… so she decided to have a decorating party! Kalie is very crafty and we’ve gotten together countless time to decorate and create! I invited a handful of her closest friends and family and we did what we do best…. eat, laugh, play games, and craft! I’m so thankful that my cousin has friends in her life that love her (almost) as much I do! I was so blessed to see everyone come together and help me throw her a shower she’ll never forget!
Funny story: My cousin has never liked the typical baby shower stuff… you know, the measuring of the belly and the pastel colors EVERYWHERE…. and I love her enough to throw her a shower that was EXACTLY that! I purchased a bunch of baby Noah’s Arc stuff from the .99 store and decked the place out. I also planned some pretty hilarious games… if I do say so myself! What can I say… I love parties and I love themes!! (I’ve thrown a 90′s costume party, thrift store costume party, and a Where’s Waldo? party for my birthday, on top of a Murder Mystery party and White Elephant party! I really really do love themed parties!)
***EDIT***
So I’ve found that A LOT of people have google searched ALL THINGS onesie decorating party! Here are some answers (hopefully) to some of the searches!
-We spent about $90 on supplies
-Onesies were purchased at Burlington Coat Factory for about $10 for a pack of 4
-We bought all the crafting supplies at Hobby Lobby
Here are the few items you’ll need:
-scissors
-paint
-different size brushes
-fabric glue
-felt
-hot glue gun & glue
-fabric samples (way cheaper than buying a yard)
-stencils

I made spice cupcakes with pumpkin and cinnamon for the soon-to-be-mom-of-three!
This is the only shot I got of the VERY traditional baby shower decor!
So for years my favorite thing to do when I give a gift is to write my card directly on the bag… it’s sort of “my thing”. Well, Kalie hasn’t come up with a name for baby #3 so we asked her oldest son (Danny, age 4) what the babies name should be and his most recent answer is “Alvin AndTheChikmunks”. I’m going with it.

This onesie is mine! I painted a triceratops in Kalies favorite color and made a felt bow tie and elbow patches. I was pretty proud! And no- those aren’t pepperonis.
p.s.
My nickname in High School was triSARAtops. In fact, Liana’s mom still calls me Tri!
My nieces Kaydence and Kensington!
Janelle working away…
So thankful for Janine & Janelle! They helped a TON! We went on a Hobby Lobby shopping spree days prior to get all the crafting supplies! It’s so fun to buy stuff for other people and just fill up the shopping cart! So fun!
Kalies onesie turned out pretty darn cute! I told you she was crafty!
AAAAAAND THEN WE PLAYED SOME GAMES!!!
I created a game based off the incredibly weird phrase that people tell pregnant women.. “You’re about to POP!”
I put a baby themed dare in each balloon and everyone had a different task to do! My auntie had to get her lipstick put on for date night by her daughter in law Kristen… while she was blindfolded!
Then Kristen had to make a diaper out of toilet paper.
Janine got lucky and got engaged (ring pop).
Janelle had to do the cheesy “heart on the belly” photo and upload it to Facebook.
Kalie had to act of 3 lullabies charades style.
Ashley had to drink out of a sippy cup.
Kristina had to get here hair did…. and wear a do’ rag!
My mom had to wear sexy lady undies over her shorts
….. and I had to explain to my mom where babies come from. YIKES!

An instagram photo of me, Janelle, Kalie, Ashley, and Janine!
I hoped you felt more loved than ever Cuzzo!!! I love you sooo much!!!!!!
