10 reasons why I absolutely LOVE today.

So, I’m totally blogging from bed and it’s after 4pm! GOTTA love gloomy mondays!Steve actually rolled up the blinds so I can watch the clouds roll by.
Today has just been GREAT! My husband had the day off (never happens on a monday) and we’ve spent some major quality time (QT) together!
1- We woke up and told each other about our dreams we just had. Mine was a terrifying nightmare… but Steve brightened the mood and said his was about shopping for fruits and vegetables at Vons! Ha! The best part is that he skipped on the oranges because he knew he could get a bigger bag and better value at Costco. My husband is frugal even in his dreams…. I love it!
2- I made this raspberry oatmeal smoothie for breakfast and it was DELICIOUS.
3- We snuggled on the couch with Ron Dog Millionaire while watching Cake Boss.
4- We cleaned.
5- I worked a little.
6- We played cards but had to end the game early. We’re too competitive.
7- Made coffee cake together and shared 2 slices and a homemade americano. Steve is THE BEST barista!
8- Made chicken and dumplings in the crock pot together. Can’t wait for dinner tonight! The house smells amazing!
9- Steve went out to do some errands and came home with 3 beautiful bouquets of flowers for me! He thought I’d except something tomorrow, so he surprised me today! What a handsome, thoughtful, and generous man that guy is! He made sure he brought me peach carnations too which I LOVE. We had them at our wedding. So delicate and sweet.
10- We still have like 7 more hours together before we fall asleep!!! Do you even know how many episodes of 30 ROCK we can get in in that time?! Or how many more rounds of rummy? Or slices of coffee cake????
