Holly volunteers in the Student Ministry program at our church and since Steve leads the youth band every weekend I’ve gotten to hang out with Holly quite a bit recently! It’s been a blast knowing her as a girlfriend and then anxiously waiting for the day she’d be a fiancee! I LOVED planning my wedding and wearing that new extra sparkly ring that feels like the equivalent of wearing a sticker on your forehead saying “ENGAGED”! Oh, is that just me? I sometimes wondered why strangers weren’t approaching me with congratulations. Wasn’t it obvious that I was wearing a diamond right for the first time?!
Anyway! I’m so happy Holly gets to experience that joy firsthand! I’m really excited for her backyard wedding in August!
Grant has been Holly’s leading man for 3 years now. They met at Biola and both majored in psychology. A few months after graduation Grant put a ring on it!
Side note: I wonder what that would be like… you know, marrying a psychologist and being a psychologist yourself! Those arguments would be pretty funny from the outside, I bet!
